There are many different methods of moisturizing your locs. Some grease their scalp, some spread the product directly unto their locs. Some use a spray bottle with essential oils and there's many more. The question is which method is better for your locs?

The best measure is to make sure that the product and method you use leaves your locs with the least amount of residue possible. Always make sure that you are able to wash out 80-90% of the product from your locs. If it's not possible then the product isn't for you.
